Smith House story writing competition
On Tuesday 13th March the Smith House Captains held an assembly about a competition that they have organized themselves. The year 3 and 4s all wrote a short story based around teamwork, then the house captains decided who the winners were going to be. Isabel and Jayden (two of the house captains) judged year 3 and Blessing and Connor judged year 4. The winners were:
1st place- Runa and Henry
2nd place- Emma and Katie
3rd place- Monica and Serena
Congratulations to all of our winners!
We had an interview with our Smith House Captains about the competition, we asked them questions and they gave their answers, here are the questions:
Q. Was it hard to judge the stories? A. Blessing-yes it was very hard because they were all so good.
Q. How did you choose the first place winners? A. Isabel-the winner’s story just stood out from the rest.
Q. Did it take a while to judge the stories? A. Jayden-It took ages to judge all the amazing stories!
Well done to everyone who took part!
The other House Captains are currently working on their house competitions and will be announcing them soon
