On the last day of February 12 year 3 and 4 children met at the Howard School to take part in the Multiskills Festival.
Multiskills are fundamental physical skills in four categories of aiming, balance, co-ordination and movement.
Each player did 12 different activities for 30 seconds and their scores were counted. There was the chance to achieve bronze silver or gold at each station and the scores were added to give each child an overall bronze, silver or gold award. All of our children achieved bronze with several achieving silver overall. Throughout the morning there were several gold awards on individual events.
Dylan and Evelyn were awarded trophies for endeavour for their hard work and enjoyment during the activities.
A lot of fun was had at the festival before we walked back to school for lunch.
